A : 나 지금 은행에 좀 다녀올게, 30분 정도 걸릴거야.

Hey, I'm on my way to the bank (right now). I'll be back in about half an hour.\

 

B : 아, 너 나가는 김에 코드 연장선 좀 사다줄래?

Oh, while you're out, could you pick up an extention cord for me?

 

pick up  - 다른 일이 이루어지고 있는 가운데 잠깐 들리는 상황에서 어울림

(on your way back, on my way here, on my way there 등)

 

A : 그래 돌아오는 길에 슈퍼에 잠깐 들르지 뭐

Sure (I guess) I can stop by a supermarket on my way back.

B : 아 그리고 너 그거 사러 간 김에 나 필요한게 몇 가지 사실 더 있는데 ,부탁 좀 할게

A : 어차피, 살거 좀 있으면 그냥 같이 가자

If you have some things to buy, you might as well just come with me.(come along, go together)

     He's on his way here right now.

     I'm on my way back.

     I'm on my way there, I'll be back in about half an hour.

     We're on our way there, we'll be there in an hour.

     On my way to Seoul, I ran into him.

     I'm on my way to work.

     I'm on my way there but I think I'll be bit late.

     He's just on his way from work.

     We are on our way , please wait for us.

 

while at it / there

ex) Hey could you bring my laptop, while you'are there?

     I've lived in NZ, I want to meet plenty of international friends while at it.

     If you have plans to go Europe, you should bring that camera while at it.

     While I'm there, I'm gonna return my books.

     I'm going back to Korea soon, I don't wanna buy clothes here while at it.

     I'm gonna meet up my friend soon, so I'm not gonna have a lunch a lot while at it.

     While I'm here, I will grow my muscles a lot.

     I quit my job a month ago, I've spent my time on studying and working out while at it.

     I went on a diet , I'm gonna buy less food while at it.

     Could you buy my chocolate while you're at it?

     While I'm out, I will pick my books up.

     On my way to home, I ran into my friend and he picked me up.

     Hey, on your way back home , could you pick grocery up for me?

     I'm on my way to his house, I guess I can pick groceries up.

     I think I can pick those up on my way home.
